What is PDR?

Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) is the process of removing dents from metal without the use of body fillers and fresh paint. It is the physical process of meticulously massaging the metal back to its original position without damaging the paint. During the 1980’s manufacturers began with widespread use of lighter gauge metals on vehicles. Around the same time Basecoat/Clearcoat paint technology became more widespread. These two factors combined with a skilled technician allow for the effective use of PDR. The process does take years to master so you won’t want to try this yourself because you will probably damage your car.

Professional Dent Express can save you time, money, and your car’s factory finish.

Why Choose Paintless Dent Repair?

We can restore your vehicle to pre-loss condition. If your vehicle is a good candidate for PDR, it is a much better choice than conventional repair, i.e., body shop. Paintless Dent Repair is quicker, usually less expensive, and allows you to keep your factory paint and paint warranty intact. We can usually get a hail damaged car completed in 2 to 3 days after we get started. Body shop repair requires grinding, sanding, and repainting. Sometimes roofs are cut out and hoods, roofs, and fenders are replaced with conventional methods. Conventional repair is very invasive to your car’s integrity and is almost always noticeable after completed. It is normally more expensive and very time consuming. Expect your car to be at a body shop for 3 to 6 weeks. You will also lose your factory paint warranty.
