PAYMENT OPTIONS TO SERVE YOU BETTER
When an emergency hits you or your loved one, thoughts of how you’re going to pay should be the furthest on your mind.
Here at Clear Choice ER, we agree.
So in an effort to make things easy for you, we will gladly take care of your insurance paperwork, so you can remain by the side of your loved-one.
Clear Choice ER accepts all private and commercial insurances. However, you will be responsible for the small portion of the payment, whether it be in the form of a deductible, co-pay and/or co-insurance. Furthermore, if you are a self-pay or uninsured patient, our patient representatives are happy to discuss payment options available to you.
Unfortunately, at this time we are unable to bill federal or state government insurances, including Medicare and Medicaid, but we hope to be able to accept them as soon as legislation changes.
As always, Clear Choice ER is privileged to be your first choice for all your emergency care needs, and we welcome your calls if you have any questions.
ADVISORY NOTICE TO ALL VISITORS AND PATIENTS
Senate Bill No. 425
Amendment to Chapter 421 of Health and Safety Code
- Clear Choice ER is a Freestanding Emergency Medical Care Facility.
- Clear Choice ER charges rates that are comparable to a Hospital Emergency Room and may charge a facility fee.
- Clear Choice ER and its physicians may not be a participating provider in your health benefit plan provider network.
- Clear Choice ER physicians are employees of Clear Choice ER and are required to bill separately for medical services rendered at the facility.
CLEAR CHOICE ER IS COMMITTED TO ITS COMMUNITY
Under federal law, free-standing emergency centers, such as Clear Choice ER, cannot accept Medicare or Medicaid payments because they are not part of a hospital system. As a result, Clear Choice ER and other free-standing emergency centers are not legally able to accept Medicare or Medicaid.
However, Clear Choice ER remains committed to the community it serves and will ensure a Medical Screening Exam is performed, and if needed, stabilization of any emergency condition, for all its patients.
