SALES INTERN

The IceRays are seeking highly-motivated and dedicated sales candidates. The primary responsibility will be to generate season ticket and group ticket sales.

Job Responsibilities:
• Prospect potential season and group ticket clients  through daily phone calls
• Actively prospect and research new sales
• Serve as a positive representative of the Corpus Christi IceRays
• Provide excellent customer service and generate repeat business and referrals
• Participate in events, promotions, client entertainment and other activities as required
• Work all home games and other required team events
• When necessary, support Ticket Manager with service needs
• Other duties as assigned

GAME OPERATIONS INTERN

The IceRays are searching for multiple Game Operations interns for the 2021-22 season. Game Operations Interns are the cogs that help every promotion and game event run smoothly during every home game with a fast-paced environment. Duties may range on a nightly basis based on the needs of the evening, but all interns must arrive three hours prior to opening faceoff and be willing to stay late to help set up and break down game day entertainment needs ranging from concourse tables to in-game promotional materials. Game Operations Interns will lead post-game activities such as post-game skating, jersey auctions, post-game autographs, and other duties as assigned. Game Operations Interns will also be responsible in assisting with in-game promotions, event execution, and sponsorship fulfillment. All interns are encouraged to brainstorm and present new ideas for promotional materials useful for future home games and events.

Qualifications
• Ability to work nights and weekends for every home game
• Must be available for 10-15 hours per week
• Possess strong organizational and communications skills (oral and written)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and internet navigation
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative while getting along with others
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize while holding a personable, professional attitude

MEDIA RELATIONS & MULTIMEDIA INTERN

The IceRays are searching for a Multimedia Intern for the 2021-22 season. The Media Relations & Multimedia Intern is responsible in assisting the Director of Broadcasting & Media Relations in the day-to-day tasks of the media department as well as on game nights. Candidates have a unique opportunity to learn all the facets of running a media department while gaining on-site experience. Specific duties may include but are not limited to: creation of content for the IceRays Official Website, media guide & social media, operation of team social media accounts, maintenance of the IceRays Official Website, assisting in set-up and execution of media relations duties on game nights, assisting in media coordination, creation of web and graphic design, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
• Previous experience in written, audio, and video content creation
• Previous web design and graphic design experience is a bonus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Must understand strategies of social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
• Very strong organizational and communications skills
• Comfortable speaking in front of large groups of people and one-on-one
• Assist in Community Relations efforts
• Ability to work nights and weekends
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative while getting along with others
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks efficiently
