Colby Seitz announced his commitment to SUNY Cortland on Monday. With his commitment, Seitz becomes the first IceRays player to make his commitment this season. SUNY Cortland is a NCAA Division III school which plays in the SUNYAC.
Seitz has been on a tear offensively as of late currently holding a six game point streak heading into the last series of the season. He also averages a point per game since late February scoring in seven of eleven games since February 26. Half of his points on the season come in the eleven games starting on February 26th as well.

The Eden, New York native makes his commitment in his home state about three hours driving east of his hometown in the Buffalo area. He will join the Red Dragons in the fall.
