IceRays Set to Host 13th Annual Stars & Stripes Night

Nov 8, 2021

The IceRays host their 13th annual Stars & Stripes Night presented by Whataburger this Saturday, November 13th.  The game honors area members of the military and first responders.  Faceoff is at 7:05 pm as the IceRays face the El Paso Rhinos at American Bank Center.

“We are proud to continue our tradition of Stars & Stripes Night here at the IceRays,” said team president Cassiday Lange.  “It is our way of saying thank you to those who serve our Coastal Bend community to keep us safe and protect our freedom in the United States.”

The IceRays have been delivering ticket vouchers to first responders, law enforcement officials, and military members around the Coastal Bend area.  Active military, veterans, and first responders can show their corresponding ID at the American Bank Center Box Office to receive free entry to the game.

During the game on Saturday night, the IceRays will wear specialty jerseys that have military inspirations.  Following the game, the jerseys will be available as they will be up for auction.

Stars & Stripes has averaged over 5,000 fans since its inception during the 2008-09 season, and the IceRays expect just as big of a crowd this Saturday!

Also, with Thanksgiving coming up, we are hosting our annual food drive on Friday night at American Bank Center.  Fans that show up with five box/canned good items will be given a ticket into the game on Friday night.  If you already have tickets, we encourage you still to bring items to the game!

Tickets for all 2021-22 IceRays home games are on sale now at the American Bank Center Box office and on Ticketmaster as well.  IceRays games can be heard live on Brewster Street Radio and can be viewed on HockeyTV.  For more information on the IceRays, or to purchase tickets, visit goicerays.com or call 361-814-PUCK (7825).
