Former IceRay Anthony Firriolo has been nominated for the Hobey Baker Memorial Award. The defenseman spent the 2018-19 season with Corpus Christi registering 40 points from the blue line.
Following his time in Corpus Christi, he found himself at Army playing division one hockey. He is now in his third season with the Black Knights and has earned a nomination for the most prestigious award in college hockey, the Hobey Baker Memorial Award. The Hobey Baker goes to the NCAA player who best exhibits strength of character both on and off the ice.
Firriolo is one of three players from the US Military Academy at West Point to become a nominee for the award this season.
With Firriolo being a nominee for the prestigious award, the first portion of the voting is open to fans. We encourage all of the IceRays faithful to support one of our former players by voting at the link at the bottom of the page.
