The IceRays look to bounce back in the second of five straight games against the Jackalopes. With the lopsided game last night going the way of Odessa, Corpus Christi has made quite a few changes in advance of tonight’s game.
Danny Nekhamiyev gets reinserted into the lineup for the IceRays after being out the last two games. He returns to Ector County Coliseum where he recorded two points in two games the last time the Rays visited. Nekhamiyev is a point per game player against Odessa this season with three points in three games.
Braden Rourke and Kevin O’Keefe return to the lineup for the IceRays after missing the series opener. They come in and replace only one player, Emerson Miller, with the Rays choosing to dress seven defensemen on night number two.
Stefan Carney is back in the net for the IceRays after having to come in relief of Damon Beaver in game one. Carney comes in winning his last four starts and hoping to make it a fifth consecutive start in a row.
