Elva Castañeda de Hall is a recognized international thought leader in the field of values-based personal and leadership development coaching for business, higher education and society.
As business partner and wife of the late Brian P. Hall, PhD—a pioneer in the field of human and organizational development—Elva is committed to mentoring new generations of Hall-Tonna values practitioners and to reaching a wider public desiring clear direction in challenging times.
Elva has over 20 years of international experience in the research and application of the Hall-Tonna values technology in organizational development and strategic business development for corporate organizations, non-profits, and academic institutions. She is passionate about bringing values technology to both individuals and groups to explore, discover and crystallize the underlying motivations that can either block our abilities to realize goals or propel us towards success. She delights in synergistic partnership with her clients to accomplish their objectives. Elva also maintains a Hall-Tonna values-based integral coaching practice that specializes in the professional and personal development of leaders at all levels.
Elva has an M.A in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University of California. She teaches at Saint Mary’s College of California in the Masters in Leadership Program. She has been a regular guest lecturer in Spain (Universidad de Deusto), Mexico (TEC de Monterrey), and at Santa Clara University.
