There is no higher respect we can show for our employees, clients, and co-contractors than by being absolutely committed to safety. To ensure that our employees have a safe and healthy workplace, we strive to exceed the safety expectations of our clients. We keep a steady vigil by implementing the latest safety policies and practices.
When it comes to safety, we aim to achieve zero casualties, zero injuries, and zero incidents.
At LHT, we believe an effective and efficient safety program can reduce the number of injuries, deaths, property damage, legal liability, illnesses, workers’ compensation claims, and missed time from work. As part of an effective safety program, training of our employees is a key element.
We are required by our clients to complete SafeLand, but we go above this requirement and train all employees in the PEC Core. The PEC Core Compliance is a 24 hour training program that ensures our employees are trained in the safety topics commonly required by operators in their pre-qualification surveys and training matrices. The PEC Core is based on accepted industry practices supported and recommended by many operators. Employees are trained in other required courses to meet OSHA requirements, including (but not limited to) crane operation, rigging, CPR & First Aid, and forklift operation.
