1974

It begins

Laredo Moving & Storage Company is established by Mr. Leon Hrncir.

First warehouse at 1908 Aduanales Rd. provided 10,000 sq/ft of storage space.

1980

It continues

Laredo Moving & Storage is incorporated

Leon’s son, Bill Hrncir, is tasked with developing commercial warehousing & distribution branch to diversify from the moving & storage industry

Laredo Moving & Storage officially branches out into commercial storage

1990

It grows

Bill Hrncir establishes several mid-size commercial accounts including Sam’s Warehouse, providing storage for their wholesale operations going into Mexico

LMS incorporates computerized inventory control

1992

It grows some more

Multiple warehouse expansions adding additional storage space

Improved equipment adding a total of 4 cranes

Purchase of Tracmobile to improve rail efficiency

1996

Here comes more rail!

LMS purchases two more warehouses to satisfy their growing client demands.

LMS branches out into the steel market and begins doing business as LMS International

Rail access is added to warehouse 6 to meet client needs

2002

We keep growing

LMS purchases yet another warehouse to fulfill the ever-growing client demand, providing an additional 117,000 sq/ft of space

Added rail dock space allows LMS International to expand its commodity base into paper, lumber, copper, zinc, aluminum & more

Inventory systems updated to better serve LMS’ client needs

Multiple crane & forklift upgrades made to keep up with an ever-changing industry

2018-2025

Billy!!

LMS adds a forklift capable of moving up to 55,000 lbs.

Massive overhaul of digital surveillance system for warehouse & yard

LMS adds yet another warehouse with an additional 20 ton capacity crane.

The third generation, Billy Hrncir, takes the helm.
