Yadira Zepeda, is the principal attorney and founder of Zepeda Law Firm, PLLC. With over 18 years of immigration law experience, representing people from around the world, she is recognized in her field and community as an expert in the U.S. Immigration laws. She has built her practice on mostly referrals as her aim has always been to be more intimate and personal with clientele. While other firms have paralegals conduct consultations, she handles all initial consults with clients and oversees each case. Her goal is to provide kindness and sincerity to each case in a very intimidating process.

As a result, she has once again been voted 2021 TOP ATTORNEY in Immigration Law in both the 360 West Magazine and the Fort Worth Magazine. She has been invited to speak at lawyer conferences and community events, volunteer at naturalization events, and write articles regarding immigration topics. She hopes to properly inform people in the immigration community of their rights and options. This is why most her consultations are free. Her belief in education, especially since she was a high school teacher at one point, is one that she feels should be readily available to everyone.

Yadira was even heavily involved in the Vicente Fox Presidential Series where she helped assist Ex-President Vicente Fox in its fundraising objective to benefit children in Mexico and the United States – she was a level Ambassador to the series. Yadira Zepeda has also been a member of the Immigration & Nationality Law Section, State Bar of Texas, the American Immigration Lawyer’s Association (AILA), the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and is licensed in the Northern District of Texas and the Eastern District of Texas. Ms. Zepeda is also a member and officer of the Woman’s Club of Fort Worth dedicated to community fundraising for local non-profit organizations such as those that assist victims of domestic violence.

She is from the Rio Grande Valley where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, a minor in Psychology, and a Social Studies Composite. Prior to practicing law, Yadira taught History in the south Texas public school system, and clerked with the 13th District Court of Appeals, as well as with the 360th District Court Judge in Tarrant County.

After graduating from law school near the top of her class, Yadira Zepeda went on to practice Immigration where she has since handled an extensive number of cases amounting to over 2000 and counting. Being a first-generation bilingual U.S. Citizen, and having lived in Mexico, she knows firsthand the hardships which exist within the Immigration process and, therefore, takes the approach of readily preparing the client, informing the client of all possible outcomes, and providing the client with a full understanding of the law as it applies to their case. Ms. Zepeda’s parents, family, and even husband immigrated to the U.S. to achieve the American dream. She now makes it a priority in her life to make sure that she helps as many people achieve that same dream.

Kiara Ibanez is the Associate Attorney of Zepeda Law Firm, PLLC. Kiara has over six years of immigration law experience, and a lifetime full of experience dealing with the immigration community. Kiara has seen firsthand the immigration community receiving unpleasant experiences when trying to achieve legal help and thus wanted to be a protector of immigrant rights and guide them into achieving legal status. Kiara can resonate with her clients as a first generation American and with having family and friends still going through the tumultuous obstacles of trying to achieve legal status. Kiara works side by side with the paralegals in the office to make sure that each and every case is being attended to and that questions and concerns are always being answered. Kiara works hard so that the immigration community no longer must suffer in silence, but finally be given a voice.

As a result of her dedication, Kiara went to Law School and was very involved in Immigration Law Society organizations, doing over 50 hours of Pro-Bono work, and interning with Immigration Law attorneys and non-profit organizations such as, Americans for Immigrant Justice. She was also invited to join her Law School’s Law Review and was able to present an article regarding the injustices the immigration community continues to face.
Kiara is a continuing member of the Immigration Law Society organization and the Latino Law Society organization at her Law School, she is a member of the Immigration & Nationality Law Section, the State Bar of Texas, and is licensed in the Northern District of Texas.

Kiara was born in California but raised in the DFW area of Texas, where she earned honors of Magna Cum Laude in her bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a minor in Spanish. Kiara was able to achieve her bachelor’s in 2.5 years to give her the time to fully dedicate herself to a year of interrupted work in immigration law. Kiara then proceeded to Law School, where she graduated with honors of Cum Laude and ranked 10th in her class. Kiara then went on to practice Immigration with Zepeda Law Firm in October of 2021.

Kiara will take any circumstance or unfortunate series of events and try to find the loopholes, evidence to support the case, and sections of law to shape the case to the outcome that is expected. She understands this takes time, effort, perseverance, and resourcefulness to be able to take a case and give the client the outcome they always wanted, they always needed. Her life experiences, such as her parents leaving their life behind in Peru and immigrating to the United States to better themselves and better the future of the children who were to come, is what has grounded her roots in the soil of law. Kiara will move mountains for the immigration community, to try and bring peace in such an uncertain world.

Magdalena “Maggie” Rivera has been a paralegal for over 17 years. She also has vast experience in immigration, family, probate, criminal and real estate law. She also was the lead paralegal for Ad-Litem and an Amicus case and has had managerial experience for over 8 years. Maggie has extensive knowledge in procedure, research and briefing. Maggie has her Associate in Science, a Bachelor’s in Liberal Arts, with emphasis in history and is certified and registered in the Paralegal Division of the State Bar of Texas, Bar No.: 24115806. She is currently in the Master Program and University of Texas in Arlington expecting to graduate in Fall of 2023.

Maggie has a wealth of experience with family-based immigrant visa applications for spouses and other relatives of US Citizens and lawful permanent residents, as well as non-Immigrant visa applications made at the U.S. Embassy.
